# What emails will I receive when I create a new MerchStore Portal Account?
## For MerchStores created on or after 10/21/2026:
When you create a new MerchStore Portal account, you will receive three emails:
1. **MerchStore Invitation Email:** You will receive an email from **Merchology** [**donotreply@checkoutstores.com**](mailto:%3cdonotreply@checkoutstores.com) with the subject line “**Merchology – You’re invited**.**”** Click **Accept Invitation** in the email. You will be directed to a page where you can create your MerchStore Portal account.
2. **Customer Account Confirmation:** If you are new to Merchology, you will receive an email from **Merchology** **[orders@merchology.com](mailto:orders@merchology.com)** with the subject line **“Customer Account Confirmation”** confirming that your customer account has been activated. No action is required.
3. **Verify Your Email:** After creating your account, you will be directed to a **Verify Your Account** page. You will then receive an email from **Merchology** [**donotreply@checkoutstores.com**](mailto:%3cdonotreply@checkoutstores.com) with the subject line **“Merchology - Verify Your Email.”** Click **Confirm My Account** in the email. You will be directed to a page confirming that your account has been verified.
Once your account is verified, click **Let’s Go!** to start creating your MerchStore.
