What are the artwork requirements for DTF?
For MerchStores created on or after 10/21/2026:
DTF, or Direct-to-Film, is a decoration method where your design is printed onto a special film and then transferred on the product using heat. Because DFT printing captures details and colors from your artwork, high-quality files are important to ensure your logo prints clearly and correctly.
DTF artwork should be at least 300 DPI. DPI stands for dots per inch and measures the resolution of your artwork. A higher DPI helps ensure your logo appears sharp and has the correct details. You will receive an error if the artwork is less than 300 DPI.
These requirements will ensure your logo will look its best.
.PNG is preferred for DTF but accepted file formats include .png, .svg, .ai, .eps, .pdf, .psd, .tif, and .tiff.
