What are the artwork requirements for embroidery?

For MerchStores created on or after 10/21/2026:

Embroidery artwork must be digitized in DST format before starting an order. A DST file includes the stitching colors and location to ensure your design looks the best on apparel. Without a DST file, your logo might not turn out.

For the best results:

  • Lettering should have a minimum font size of .20 inches.
  • Details within the design should be larger than 1.75 mm wide.
  • Avoid small details or fonts that may not translate clearly when stitched.
