Which sales tax exemption and resale certificate forms does Merchology accept?
Merchology accepts the following common multistate certificates, as well as applicable state-specific exemption and resale certificates.
Streamlined Sales Tax (SST) Certificate of Exemption
Generally used by purchasers claiming an exemption in states that are members of the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement.
Uniform Sales & Use Tax Resale Certificate – Multijurisdiction
Generally used by purchasers buying items for resale. Not every state accepts this certificate, and some states accept it only under certain conditions. Please review the state-specific notes included with the form.
